Billingham North
Vote Labour Thursday 4th May

Marc Besford & Clare Gamble
We are delighted to be selected as your Billingham North Labour candidates for the upcoming Local Elections in May. We were both born in Billingham, we have lived here all our lives and Clare has been your local Councillor since 2019. We are passionate believers in social justice, supporting residents, protecting the most vulnerable in our society. Now more than ever, residents need Labour led Councils to stand up for them.
Over the last 4 years we have worked hard knocking on doors, speaking to residents, holding ward surgeries, working with local PCSOs and police officers, delivered letters and leaflets as well as supporting residents with queries and casework. We have also been involved in some great community projects, from litter picks to supporting Billingham Town Council’s Sunday lunch project. We have also used our Community Participation Budget to support High Grange Community Centre, bulb planting, creating additional parking spaces, improvements to the footpaths at Cowbridge Beck and the planned CCTV at High Grange Shops.
If elected, we will continue to be visible and accessible to local residents through regular ward surgeries and door knocking to meet with residents and hear their views. We will work to ensure that Billingham Town Centre remains a priority for investment and to bring forward plans for the £18m planned investment in the town. We will continue to work with local enforcement and shop owners to tackle the anti social behaviour around High Grange Shops.
Please use your two votes for Marc Besford and Clare Gamble on Thursday 4 May.

4. Support the campaign for a new North Tees Hospital
5. Work with other Tees Valley Councils to provide better public transport
6. Complete the planned improvements to all our Town Centres/High Streets.
